One year Anniversary

A few weeks ago, we received a call from a frantic man that we had done business with about a year ago. This man's one year anniversary was just around the corner! His wife had expressed that she would like to eat the top layer of their cake on their anniversary (this is a very normal tradition) and this man went into panic mode. He didn't realize that it was tradition to freeze and then eat the top layer of your wedding cake, on your anniversary, so a few weeks after their wedding he tossed it in the trash. He called Dawna and explained what happened and luckily she was able to locate his file and see exactly what cake his wife had ordered. This man had asked that Dawna make a new cake that resembled their wedding cake so that he could take it home and freeze it (talk about a smart husband). Dawna was able to recreate their top layer and get it to the frantic husband just in time for their anniversary. We never found out if the husband told his wife what he did, but if you ask me she never needs to know!
