I got engaged August 23 2010. My parents were staying up the canyon (because it was hunting season) and my fiance wanted to go up and spend the night with them in the trailer. When we got up to the trailer my dad said lets go up to Cascade Springs and walk around. I was pretty much starving but ironically my mom had packed all my favorite snacks in the truck. We got up to Cascade and I was oblivious to everything that was about to happen. When we walked to the bottom of the hill I saw cute lanterns set up and flowers sitting by a ring box. My fiance got down on his knee and asked me to Marry him. All of my friends and family popped out of the bushes and congratulated us. It was an awesome night. We have been married for exactly 1 month today :).
